After a thrilling match in which they made a comeback from 0-2 to 3-2 against Expressway, the Pink Spiders have further strengthened the leading position in the 2020/21 Korean Women’s Dodram V-League regular season table. The reigning champions widened the gap over second-placed GS Caltex KIXX to 9 points (40 vs 31).
The Pink Spiders were nearly knocked out by a monstrous performance of American opposite hitter Kelsie Payne. She tallied 49 points on the losing side, which is an output that placed her in the 10th position in the unofficial world’s top list of best single-game scorers. As for the winning side, they were led by Lee Jae-Yeong, who was also amazing with 41 points.
