Scandicci-vs-Imoco
In a duel of the two 2021 CEV Champions League participants, valid for a delayed 16th round of the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season, Imoco Volley Conegliano swept Savino Del Bene Scandicci. ’The Panthers’ remained undefeated in the competition (17-0). Furthermore, they recorded the 40th consecutive win, counting all competitions!
Imoco increased the gap over vice-leaders Igor Gorgonzola Novara to 8 points (51 vs 43). Paola Egonu was Imoco’s most prolific player today with 17 points.
Saugella Monza are also consistent, recording the 9th win in a row in the league, the 11th in a row overall. Mostly thanks to Belgian Laura Heyrman and Bosnian Edina Begić (16 points apiece; 6 blocks apiece), they downed Bosca S.Bernardo Cuneo in four sets and firmed themselves additionally at the third place in the charts.
