VK Slávia EU Bratislava recorded the 19th Slovakian Championship title, making an even wider gap in relation to the closest followers (VK Doprastav Bratislava, 4 titles) in the all-time list of the title winners in the country.
In the final series of the 2020/21 Extraliga, Slávia won all 3 games against Strabag VC Bilíkova Pezinok. The last one ended in 4 sets, partially: 22-25, 25-15, 25-10, and 25-20. Zuzana Šepeľová top-scored the winning side with 16 points.
It was Slávia’s 5th championship title in the last 6 seasons that concluded with the playoffs and 2nd trophy this season. They won the national cup by which they wrote down the 12th ‘double-crown ’ in the club history.
