TalTech/Tradehouse took the gold medal in the 2020/21 Estonian Women’s Meistriliiga, the first-ever in the competition upon giving up on the name of TTÜ VK in 2018. Even before that, this club from Tallinn had never become the no.1 in the country.
TalTech, the regular-season winners, swept the final series against 3rd-seed Famila/Võru VK (3-0), prevailing in in Game 3 in straight sets, partially 25-16, 25-15, and 25-16. Individually, the most productive player in the last game of the series was was Silvia Pertens, from the new titleholders, who scored 16 points.
This was a very successful season for TalTech. In addition to the Estonian Championship title, they also won a gold medal in the Baltic League and Estonian Cup – all 3 for the first time in the club history.
