German star Georg (György) Grozer officially signed with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad Club (KSA).
The move comes shortly after the 41-year-old opposite hitter guided Jakarta LavAni Livin’ Transmedia to the 2026 Indonesian Proliga title, adding another title to his decorated career. Grozer also played the full 2025/26 season in China before moving to Indonesia. It was recently announced that he has also been included in the German national team squad for this year’s international season.
With vast international experience at both club and national team level, Grozer is expected to strengthen Al-Ittihad’s push for trophies while contributing to the growing profile and competitiveness of volleyball in Saudi Arabia.
