Grozer in Germany’s VNL Squad

Germany head coach Massimo Botti has named a 30-player roster for the upcoming Volleyball Nations League, with 41-year-old veteran Georg Grozer included in the squad.

Germany will open its VNL campaign on June 10 in Ottawa, Canada, before continuing tournament weeks in Poland and Serbia. The team has been preparing in Kienbaum since early May.

Alongside Grozer, experienced players such as Jan Zimmermann, Moritz Reichert, Ruben Schott and Tobias Krick were selected, while several uncapped players also earned places on the extended list.

Setter Johannes Tille and outside hitter Moritz Karlitzek are unavailable due to rest periods, while middle blocker Lukas Maase misses out through injury.
