French volleyball star Earvin Ngapeth has officially signed a two-year contract with Tours Volley-Ball, returning to the club where his professional career began.

The 35-year-old outside hitter was presented at Tours City Hall following his departure from Turkish club Fenerbahçe earlier this year. Ngapeth will remain with Tours until June 2028 and is set to become the club’s new captain.
“Coming back to where everything started feels both special and natural,” Ngapeth said. “I still have big goals with the club and with France ahead of the Los Angeles Olympics.”
Tours president François Bruneau said the signing reflects the club’s growing ambitions, with the budget expected to rise from €2.4 million to €3.2 million next season as the team targets a strong return to European competition.
Tours also strengthened its roster with several signings, including Vassili Molotkov, François Huetz, Bruno Dias, and Simon Roehrig, while Brazilian coach Rubinho has joined on a three-year deal.
