Viteos NUC won the Swiss Championship title for the 2nd time in a row, and also the 2nd time in total. In the most competitive match of the 2020/21 NLA playoff finals (Game 4), the Neuchâtel team downed TS Volley Düdingen in the tie-break: 3-2 (27-29, 25-13, 25-27, 25-17, 15-12). The previous 3 encounters in the series for the title, finished with 3-1 for Viteos, were more or less deprived of drama.

American outside hitter Tia Scambray, who has spent her entire professional career in Viteos so far (since 2018) was brutal in a decisive game with 39 points! Martina Halter set up 5 blocks. Scambray’s compatriot Amanda Benson stood out in defense with 81 % reception (21 digs, 29 % excellent). Danish Trine Kjelstrup scored 23 points for Düdingen. American Samantha Cash made 4 blocks.

Tia Scambray is a great player and captain indeed. Congrats to both teams!
