Dream of CV CCO 7 Palmas (commonly known as Olímpico) came true tonight as they won the first title of the Spanish women’s champions in their history.
The Gran Canaria team beat Feel Volley Alcobendas in the first-ever Golden Set in the league: 15-13. Before that, Feel Volley won the match by a 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19) and tied the series of the 2020/21 Liga Iberdrola playoff finals at 2-2.
Saray Manzano, the outside hitter of the new titleholders, highlighted her side with 32 points, leading her to earn the MVP award.
