Argentina celebrates victory over Turkey
Argentina beat Turkey 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-20) at Mexicali State Auditorium and will match host Mexico on wednesday at the Baja California High Performance Center in Tijuana.
Both teams have already qualified to second round. Argentina closed with 11 points after three victories by 3-0 and one by a 3-2 score.
Turkey finished in fourth place in Pool B with a 1-3 record and 5 points.
Nicolás Lazo scored 18 points for the Argentinean team, including four aces and Brian Melgarejo converted 14. Turkey‘s Siratka Melih scored 9 and Vahit Emre Savat 8.
