WCHY W: Serbia maintain momentum with Thailand win

Serbia virtually confirmed their place in the second round (Round of 16) of the FIVB Girls' U18 World Championship with a comfortable straight-sets win (25-17, 25-22, 25-12) over hosts Thailand in Pool A at Chatchai Hall in Nakon Ratshasima on Sunday in front of 2.500 excited spectators.

Serbian duo of Sara Lozo and Bojana Milenković led World No. 7 to the third consecutive victories; both lead the scorers with 11 points each with two blocks and one ace each also out of them. World No. 19 Thailand’s captain Patcharaporn Sittisad led her team scorers with also 11 points including 9 effective spikes.

Now Serbia improved their win- loss ratio to 3-0 and keeps the record of being the only team who didn’t drop a set till now in the competition.
