The setter Andrey Zhekov will not be a part of Bulgarian national team for the European Championship. Experienced player decided to start with preparations in his new club, Romanian champion Tomis.

He stated that he will not be at European Championship this September.
“I did not play and practiced more than year. I have to do many things to get in shape. Also, I have to help my new club in his goals. If coach of Bulgaria decide to call me at the end of season I’ll be ready to discuss about my status.” – explained Zhekov.
