AVC: Intensive coaches course held in Bangkok

An FIVB Level I International Coaches Course is currently being conducted in Bangkok until August 12, 2013.

Presided by Thailand Volleyball Association President Somporn Chaibangyang, the course welcomed 35 national coaches coming from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The facilities for the course are provided by the Ramkhamhaeng University in collaboration with the Development Center in Bangkok and the course is run by director, Mr Tatsuya Adachi.

The course focuses on FIVB organisation and history as well as the development and knowledge of volleyball. Mr Zhao Shenwen, course instructor, will be instructing the national coaches on physical training and conditioning as well as new volleyball techniques through case study reviews.
