The Czechs of Jihostroj CESKE BUDEJOVICE hope they can seize the night on Tuesday as they play France’s PARIS Volley in their home debut for the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men.

Straight upon their return from Montenegro, they played the team from Brno in the second round of the national league and they cruised to a 3:1 victory (25-21, 16-25, 25-11, and 25-17) as they were paced by Michal Krisko with 14 points and three more players – Radek Mach, Tomas Fila and Filip Habr – finished the game in double digits. “PARIS Volley is stronger on paper but we want to winKrisko says. “If we want to continue our European campaign in the Playoffs 12 or make it to the Challenge Round of the CEV Volleyball Cup, we need to seize the night on Tuesday” he adds. 

We are waiting for a great Volleyball night” stresses club President Jan Divis. “PARIS Volley is the current national champions in France but we want to win. Moreover, we expect between 1,500 and 2,000 fans to attend the match, so this will add extra motivation to the spirit of our players.”
