They have defeated hosts Posojilnica AICH/DOB in the final match with 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-15). This is the sixth title for the team from Slovenia’s capital city in the professional league organized by the MEVZA.

Our performance was poor and we did never pressure our opponents,” said middle-blocker Peter Wohlfahrtstätter after the game. “We all made mistakes and therefore our mood got worse and worse during the match. I just can’t explain how we could perform so badly tonight but there is no excuse for this. It is always pretty bitter when you lose this way.

Though the home side lost the final in straight sets, it was Posojilnica’s Valdir Sequeira who top scored in the game with 16 points while Jan Pokersnik and Matija Plesko paced ACH Volley with 14 and 13 respectively.
