After defeating SZBBRA, who played the first national cup final in their history, with a score of 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 25-19) in Érd, Vasas took the 2021/22 MVM Női Magyar Kupa. In total, the red-and-blue conquered the competition for the 14th time. American Taylor Bannister was Vasas’ best scorer in the decider with 30 points.

Prevailing over SZBBRA, who eliminated the last year’s winners FATUM Nyíregyháza in the semi-finals, Vasas collected their second trophy this season after they took the MEVZA League (the regional league of clubs from Central Europe).
