Even though they entered the playoffs as 3rd-seed, Boca Juniors triumphed in the 2021/22 Argentine Women’s Volleyball Championship.
The 2nd match of the playoff finals of the 2021/22 Liga Argentina Femenina Banco Nación went in the favor of Boca Juniors, who defeated the best team in the regular season, Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, in straight sets, with partials of 25-18, 25-22, and 25-19. Thus, the Buenos Aires side resolved the series 2-0. In this way, Boca redeemed for losing the title to San Lorenzo in 2021 and earned its 7th championship honor, the first in 3 years.
The outside hitter on the winning side, María de la Paz Corbalán, was distinguished as the MVP of the finals.
