In the recent Croatian SuperLiga volleyball playoffs, Mursa Osijek and Centrometal confirmed their superiority with new victories in the quarterfinals return matches, smoothly advancing to the semifinals. They are now set to compete against the league’s top contenders, HAOK Mladost and Ribola Kaštela.
Mursa Osijek continued their winning streak against Cratis Varaždin, replicating their first match performance in Varaždin with a 3-0 victory. The match, which lasted 76 minutes, showcased Mursa Osijek’s ability to overturn a deficit, particularly notable in the first set where they turned a 12-14 lag into a 5-point lead, ultimately winning the set and proceeding to secure the match with consistent performance.
On the other side, Centrometal faced Marsonia in a gripping 106-minute match, triumphing with a 3-1 score. The match featured dramatic shifts in momentum, highlighted by Marsonia’s astounding 11-0 lead in the second set. However, Centrometal showcased resilience, particularly in the critical moments of the third and fourth sets, to clinch the victory.
These results set the stage for semifinal matchups, as Mursa Osijek and Centrometal prepare to face HAOK Mladost and Ribola Kaštela, respectively.
