Australia took its first ever victory in the FIVB Volleyball World League at the expense of Finland 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 24-26, 25-20, 15-12) on the third week of competition at the AIS Arena.

MVP of the match was Edgar Thomas with 32 points from Australia.
Australia and Finland will play their second match tomorrow on June 8.
