In the semifinals, China beat Thaiand in four sets 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-19) while South Korea defeated Japan 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 26-16).
Kim Yeon Koung was the best scorer in South Korea with 22 points.
