Title holder Zhejiang enters into Last 8 from the second place in Pool 1.
In the last round of group stage it beat Fujian, who also qualified for the next phase, with 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-20, 25-23) thanks to Li Ying. She scored 23 points. Fujian was led by Zheng Xinyi with 16 and Puerto Rican Karina Ocasio with 15 points.
Jiangsu, the leader of Pool 1, defeated Shanghai in four sets. The top scorers for the winning team were Hui Ruoqi with 21 and Zhang Changning who scored 19 points. In the losing team, Margareta Kozuch collected 17 pts.
In Pool 2, Bayi, the best team in the group stage of Chinese championship, enters into Last 8 with another victory – ninth in total. It beat Beijing as a visitor with 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18).
Bayi was led by unstoppable Huang Liu-Yan (28 points). On the other side, Zeng Chunlei scored 18 and Seda Tokatlıoğlu 16 points.
In the match between Liaoning and Henan, two players had their own battle. Liaoning won in four sets and Zhao Yanni (29) outscored Henan’s Ting Zhou (28).
