You are already all familiar with the case from Finland, but the new one comes from Belgium, where Noliko Maaseik suspended starting libero Bert Derkoningen! According to hbvl.be, player had a big argue with the head coach Erik Verstraten on one practice during the last week and he was not “choosing words” in the progress.
Coach Verstraten decided to “banish” the player from the team, and club’s officials supported that decision, so Derkoningen was not in the roster of Noliko Maaseik in the last game of the Belgian Championship.
The official announcement of the club is that Bert Derkoningen is suspended until further notice.
