All matches will be broadcast live by ORF Sport+ but head coach Michael Warm invites as many fans as possible to find their way to the sports hall to cheer on their heroes in red and white jerseys. “We know some great Volleyball will be offered this weekend in Hard and so I wish we could have full stands there. We have seen a couple of weeks ago in Jablonec what it means to play in front of a full house” he stresses.
“We already had very positive experiences with our home rounds in the past years and we are extremely happy to play in Hard” says Austrian top scorer Thomas Zass. “I hope we’ll have a full house and a great ambiance, it will be our duty to provide our fans with great Volleyball”.
Should Austria score at least one home win in Hard, this would move the final count up to five matches won, thereby making this year’s campaign the most successful in history since the team joined the European League already a few years ago.
On Tuesday the players mentored by Michael Warm were joined by 40 children and 70 pupils from a local kindergarten respectively primary school for a special training session (see picture).
