The President of the Swiss Volleyball Federation, Christoph Stern, died from cancer at the age of 64.

From now until November 28, when the Swiss Volleyball Parliament will meet, the Vice President Bernard Hominal will lead the Federation.

Stern was the president of SwissVolley since 2002 when he started a complete renovation of the Federation, leaving no financial burdens to his successor.
