Two Spanish volleyball giants started preparations for the next season.

The eternal dilemma in Spanish volleyball is – Unicaja Almeria or CAI Teruel? Two strongest teams in the country won 13 out of the last 16 championships and once again they will be top candidates for the domestic title in Spain.

They both started preparations for the upcoming season, but, which side is stronger? Have a look at team rosters and you decide.

Unicaja Almeria extended cooperation with Antoni Llabres Gil, Alejandro Fernandez Rojas and Jorge Almansa, while the club acquired eight new players – Miguel Angel De Amo Fernandez Echevarria, Pablo Cabrera Reina, Mario Ferrera Garcia, Borja Ruiz Mira, Manuel Morales Parres, Guilherme Magnani Hage, Marcilio José Braga Da Silva and Manolo Berenguel! According to some information from Spain, Unicaja Almeria is planning to acquire one more player. 

On the other side, CAI Teruel renewed contracts with Cesar Martin Perez, Francisco Jose Ruiz Garrido, Juan Carlos Barcala Sanroman, Maximo Torcello and Marc Altayo Ruiz, while 7 new players joined the team – Pablo Bugallo Sanchez, Eric Fitterer, Cory John Riecks, Vinicius Noronha da Silva, Alejandro Vigil Gonzalez, Dmytro Storozhylov and Javier Monfort Minaya.

Recall that Unicaja Almeria is the reigning champion, while two big rivals will play their first derby already on September 26 in the Supercup final.
