Marcelinho
The setter Marcelo Elgarten „Marcelinho“, former member of Brazilian national team with whom he has become Olympic and world champion, spoke to reporters about the objectives and motivations that led him to sign for Lugano.
„The right word to describe my arrival in Lugano is to win! I’m here to work better, to play great, but most of all and I will repeat, to win. I chose Lugano for just a few, but simple reasons: to play in the Champions League and for the beautiful city of Lugano,“ Marcelinho stated.
A 40-year-old setter has rich career behind him, playing, among others, in the clubs like Sesi-SP and Sisley Treviso.
After Marcelinho, Lugano hired a few more great players and big names.
