After almost a year, Petron lost the game. Last time Generika beat them last year on November 25th in five sets as well.
The signing from USA Ariel Usher has great performance – 31 points! On the other side Manabat scored 16 points.
“Dindin was killing us with her running attacks. I told the girls that stopping Dindin also means stopping Petron. My players didn’t play stressed or pressured. We were very relaxed. I told them to go out there, play their game and get the win. Fortunately, they responded with victory” says head coach of Cignal Sammy Acaylar.
In other match, Foton beat Meralco in straight sets 25-23, 25-22, 25-16. Lindsay Stalzer was top scorer of the game with 18 points.
