Last season the outside hitter/receiver was a member of Shahrdari Tabriz, the club in his home country, but finished the season in Iraq, in Shaqlawa SC.
There, Karimi was one of the main stars, showing powerful spikes, like this one. It was such a strong kill that we hardly saw the ball!
He was on the list of Iranian national team in 2011 while the head coach was Argentine Julio Velasco.
