With this home win and two more games to play in V-League, Pink Spiders are on verge to claim third place in the standings and join two other playoff participants – reigning champions IBK Altos, who secured pole position, and second placed Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
Lee Jae-Yeong was the best scorer in Pink Spiders with 19 points while American Alexis Olgard, who joined the team two weeks ago, is still adapting to Korean volleyball. Her coach was using her only in Set 1 and Set 4 (9 points).
Lee So-Young topped Caltex’s scorers with 20 while American Katherine Bell had 16.
