After winning the 1st leg at home by 3-1, CSM Bucuresti outplayed Idman Ocagi Trabzonspor on the road with the same score and clinched the trophy in the Challenge Cup! Therefore, the Romanian side have written a new chapter in history of their country…
This is the first ever European trophy for CSM Bucuresti, while it is also the first ever European trophy for any Romanian women’s team!!! Congratulations!!!
The top scorer in the winning team was Jasna Majstorović with 19 points, while on the other side Jelena Blagojevič made 15 points for Trabzonspor. Blagojević was also named the MVP of the competition.
