MEX: Good Instructors translate into better athletes

The International Level I Coaches Course continue in Tijuana, Mexico where participants from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua are benefitting from the experience of instructors Argelio Hernandez of Cuba and Eduardo Bellman of Argentina.

It is very important for all the participants to learn from these well experienced instructors”, Yoana Mota, vice director of the FIVB Regional Development Centre in Dominican Republic, said.

 “The coaches from those six countries do have a real privilege.

The Level I Coaches Course includes theoretical and practical sessions and is being addressed at the High Performance Center of Baja California in Tijuana.

We are hosting as many courses and seminars as we firmly believe that good instructors translate into better athletes”, Saul Castro Verdugo, Director of Baja California Sport and Physical Culture Institute, said.

The theoretical clinics include the basics of good training methods, modern techniques of the game and strategy.

Since last year, the FIVB Regional Development Center in Dominican Republic has expanded its umbrella to cover more countries and thus facilitating the access to the courses and seminars organized with the support of NORCECA Confederation and the International Volleyball Federation.
