“We are used to playing Asian teams like Thailand, Japan and South Korea. When you play European teams you need to have good blocks otherwise you can’t play on equal footing with them. We have a young team with nine new players,” says Shapran.
“We are happy with the result. We got the three points. In the second set our level went down because of service problems. We put pressure on them in the third and fourth sets with our serves and our attackers played well,” says Giovanni Guidetti.
