Akbari
With Paykan, Akbari took silver medal in Iran’s Super League last season. The season before that, he was the national champion.
Akbari said to Iran’s “Fars News Agency” that he remained in the club both when the financial situation was good and when it was not good and that he refused offers from other clubs for bigger salary.
Due to poor financial situation, until recently it was not certain if Paykan will compete in Iranian Championship next season, but the things have been improved on that matter.
