Three wild cards have been awarded recently, to Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul (Turkey), VakıfBank İstanbul (turkey) and Volero Zürich (Switzerland), and they joined Philippine SuperLiga “All Stars” team, Thai Bangkok Glass, Italian Pomì Casalmaggiore and Brazilian Rexona-AdeS.
One spot to complete eight-team composition at the Club World Championship in Manila, Philippines (October 18 to 23) is still empty but according to some Turkish media and blogs, it will go to the Japanese champions Hisamitsu Springs.
