JPN W: Araki says goodbye to Ageo and moves to Qeenseis

Famous Japanese middle blocker changed the club after two seasons but remained competing in the same championship.

The 31-year-old middle blocker Erika Araki, who spent previous two years in Ageo Medics, joined other V-League club – Toyota Auto Body Queenseis.

Araki is one-time Olympic (as a captain of Japan) and World Championship bronze medalist, having several individual awards on her account such as Best Blocker of the Olympic Games and Japanese league MVP in 2008.

Araki is on Japan NT roster for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
