GP 2016: Fabiana leads Brazil to 11th title through epic final against USA!

The absolute record holder in number of titles in the FIVB World Grand Prix, Brazil, made an ever greater gap comparing to all the other teams after the 2016 edition of the tournament!

Brazil National Team took 11th trophie in the World League by downing the second best team in number of gold medals in the tournament’s history, USA, in the epic Bangkok final 3-2 (18-25, 25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 15-9).

Thus, South American side paved the way towards 2016 Rio Olympics where it will be one of the favorites for the gold medal along with today’s opponents.

Fabiana Claudino highlighted the final match with 18 points from which a few were crucial in the tie-break, earning the honor to seal USA’s faith with 15th point for her team in the tie-break. Sheilla Castro added 14. In the US National Team, Foluke Akinradewo had 19 points, Kimberly Hill contributed with 17.
