It was another amazing team-play performance of the Dutch squad. Lonneke Sloetjes was leading the Orange troops with 23 points, Judith Pietersen added 17, including 5 aces, Anne Buijs made 15 points, while Robin de Kruijf finished the match with 10 points.
On the other side, Kim Yeon-Koung gave her best to help Korea win this match, but her oustanding display was not enough this time. Kim scored 27 points today, she was the top scorer of the game, but her Korea still lost the match and stayed without a medal at the Rio 2016 women’s volleyball tournament.
The Netherlands will play against Brazil or China in the semifinals.
