Lang Ping, Coach of China: “Except for the first set, it was a spectacular match, a true volleyball show. I want to congratulate my players for not quitting. We managed to find de way of winning. It was a crucial match and each team had 50-50 chances on winning. Brazil is one of the best teams in the world and I told my players that for winning the match we would need to play hard for every point. That’s what they did under difficult environment for young players who showed character and consistency.”
China will play against Netherlands in the semifinals of the Rio 2016 women’s volleyball tournament.
