The reigning champions Tianjin suffered defeat on the road against Shanghai 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 26-24, 26-24).
Sarah Pavan and Helena Havelkova were the players who inspired the victory over Tianjin. Canadian player scored 20, while Czech played ended game with 14. On the other side, Nancy Carillo had 22, while Brankica Mihajlovic added 16.
Karsta Lowe had a good display (20 points) but her team Beijing didn’t manage to score a win against Liaoning, suffering 3-1 defeat at the home court 25-19, 25-27, 25-14, 25-20.
