Loic Couchy was the best scorer for Guadeloupe with 19 points followed by Heindrik Perrot and Ludovic Baltyde with 13 and 11 points respectively.
Jelani Richards had a match-high 20 points for U.S. Virgin Islands while Shimoi Van Holten and Anthony Pippen finished with 16 and 10.
The top three teams of this event will secure spots in next year’s second round of NORCECA’s 2014 FIVB Men’s World Championship phase.
In Sunday’s morning action, Guadeloupe play against Haiti while Dominican Republic meet U.S. Virgin Islands. In the evening session, the third and fourth placed teams will compete for the last ticket to the next phase while first and second place teams will define top position.
