A total of 1,276 athletes on 161 teams, including competitors from Peru, Argentina and Finland, are expected to fill the courts and sand courts of the complex from next Friday.
The first day is reserved for the Technical Meeting of the over-35 and over-40 categories, who will play from Saturday to Tuesday.
Seven other categories (45+, 50+, 55+, 59+, 63+, 67+ and 70+), including male and female teams, will play over the following four days.
Rio de Janeiro State has the highest number of teams entered (55), followed by Minas Gerais (27), Distrito Federal (18) and São Paulo (15). There are also teams from Paraná, Espírito Santo, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia, Goiás, Ceará, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina and Tocantins.
