USA Secures Vital Win; Brazil Maintains Top Spot with Clean Sweep
The USA took a major step toward the Volleyball Nations League Finals with a 3-1 win over Argentina in Chiba, Japan. Cooper Robinson led the charge with 20 points, helping the Americans climb to 9th in the standings at 6-4.
Argentina’s Pablo Kukartsev impressed with a match-high 30 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Americans. The loss drops Argentina to 11th with a 5-5 record.
Meanwhile, Brazil extended their dominance with a 3-0 sweep of Japan (25-21, 25-23, 28-26). With 9 wins in 10 matches, they remain VNL leaders. Flávio led the team with 14 points, supported by strong performances from Lukas Bergmann and Alan.
