Chinese women’s league: Carrillo led Evergrande; Kim and Zhang the best in new win of Shanghai

Shanghai and Liaoning scored the 6th wins in the Chinese volleyball league for women.

Liaoning is still on the top of the Group A. Today they defeated Henan in three sets.

In the same pool, Evergrande outplayed Sichuan and the Cuban attacker Nancy Carrillo scored 25 points for the winning team while Sanja Bursać added 12 and Eva Yaneva 2 points.

In Group B Shanghai crushed Tianjin 3-0 and Zhang Yi was the top scorer with 19 points followed by the Korean star Kim Yeon-Koung who scored 18 points.

Beijing led by Rachel Rourke 24 and the American blocker Carly Wopat 11 suffered defeat from Zhejiang of 1-3.

Group A

Sichuan – Guangdong Evergrande 1-3 (25-22, 14-25, 13-25, 21-25)

Liaoning – Henan 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-13)

Bayi – Fujian 3-1 (24-26, 25-14, 28-26, 25-17)

 

Group B

Hebei – Chandong 1-3 (15-25, 25-20, 10-25, 10-25)

Shanghai – Tianjin 3-0 (30-28, 25-16, 25-22)

Zhejiang – Beijing 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20)
