At the result 5-5, an unexpected situation happened when the lights inside the hall went out. One of the reasons is that the fans smoked cigarettes in the toilet and activated the fire system.
The hosts were trying to fix it for almost three hours, but they didn’t manage to do it.
“The failure turned out to be serious. We will inform you about it and we will compensate the fans for what happened today,” report Stocznia Szczecin
The new date of the continuation of the game is unknown.
In the second match of the day, GKS Katowice defeated AZS Olsztyn 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-23). Karol Butryn was the top scorer with 20 points, while Jan Hadrava had 15 on the other side.
