The last round (Round 26) of the Plus Liga 2018/2019 that was played last weekend did not make any changes in regard to the playoff spots as all six were known prior to it. The icing on the cake of Round 26 was a classic between titleholders PGE Skra Bełchatów and runners-up ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, yesterday, in which ZAKSA prevailed (3-1) for the third time this season (two times in the league and once in the national Cup). So now their paths cannot cross until the playoff finals.
According to the Plus Liga regulations, top two seeds advanced directly to the semifinals, while the teams placed 3-6 in the standings will play best-of-three quarterfinals.
