In the match of the third round of the 2019/20 Liga Siatkówki Kobiet regular season, the home side of Chemik beat Wrocław by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-20). The favorites did not disappoint as they constantly controlled the encounter and confidently recorded the fourth win in as many matches, emphasizing their high aspirations this season. Martyna Grajber and Iga Wasilewska top-scored for Chemik with 15 points apiece. Turkish expert at the helm of Chemik, Ferhat Akbaş, decided to rest several major players like Salas, Trushkina, Mędrzyk and several more. Aleksandra Rasińska scored 14 points for Wrocław.
Developres SkyRes Rzeszów swept Bank Pocztowy Pałac Bydgoszcz in straight sets and kept the lead in the charts with the same record as the second-placed Chemik but with one point more (12-11). It was mostly a one-sided duel with the exception of the third set in which Pałac missed several set points: 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 31-29). Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król led Developres with 22 points (4 kill blocks). Monika Fedusio scored 14 points for the losing side, while Anna Stencel made 5 kill blocks.
