POL M: Lubin achieve historic win over Skra, agony of Resovia goes on

Cuprum Lubin recorded a historic win in the Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship.

In Round 3 of the 2019/20 PlusLiga regular season, Cuprum Lubin surpassed title favorites PGE Skra Bełchatów in a thrilling encounter: 3-2 (25-14, 16-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-12). It was the first win of Lubin in the season and also a historic one against today’s rivals, knowing that they lost all previous 10 matches to Skra! Jakub Ziobrowski top-scored for Lubin with 25 points and was named MVP of the match. Serbian Dušan Petković scored one point more for Skra.

The agony of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów went on! Polish giants fell to Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in four sets and remained winless (0-3)! The Czech Jan Hadrava was on a high level for the winning side with 24 points.

GKS Katowice – Trefl Gdańsk 2-3 (23-25, 25-21, 25-27, 25-15, 11-15)

November 4:

PROJEKT Warszawa – Ślepsk Malow Suwałki
