Roberto Santilli will be at the helm of the Polish men’s volleyball top division side Projekt Warszawa.
The Italian coach, who spent a great deal of his career working at Polish clubs (last time in 2019), Santilli, has signed a 2-year contract with one more side from this country – Warszawa. The 57-year-old expert replaced his compatriot Andrea Anastasi as the head coach of the team from the Polish capital.
Santilli cooperated with such PlusLiga clubs as Jastrzębski Węgiel (won the Polish Cup in 2009/10), Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, and MKS Będzin, spending 7 years in total working in Poland. Most recently, Santilli was sitting on the bench of Turkey’s Ziraat Bankkart, leaving their ranks in February, previously taking the Super Cup.
As for the man in charge he succeeded on the Warszawa bench, the renowned expert Anastasi, he left the club after 3 seasons and no trophies won.
