POL W: LKS Lodz Suffers First Defeat, But Maintains Top Spot in Tauron Liga Standings

The LKS Lodz, previously undefeated in 18 consecutive matches, experienced their first loss in the Tauron Liga this season in a closely fought match against Chemik Police. Despite their defeat by a score of 3-2, LKS Lodz managed to retain their top spot in the Tauron Liga standings.

Chemik Police, currently sitting in third place in the league standings, put in an impressive performance with standout player Jovana Brakocevic-Canzian scoring 29 times throughout the match. Valentina Diouf, LKS Lodz top scorer, managed to score 24 points.

Meanwhile, Developres Rzeszow recorded an impressive 3-0 victory over MKS Kalisz, moving them within one point of the top spot in the standings. The match top scorer was Aleksandra Rasinska from Kalisz who scored 15 points. Meanwhile, Gabriela Orvosova was the most effective player for the winning team, scoring 13 points. Weronika Szlagowska also made a significant contribution to the team’s victory by scoring 12 points. Additionally, Jelena Blagojevic and Anna Obiala each added 11 points to the scoreboard.
