Two matches were played in the quarterfinal series of the Polish PlusLiga playoffs today.
Indykpol AZS Olsztyn kept their hopes alive for advancing to the semifinals of the PlusLiga Playoff by winning a thrilling tiebreak against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in front of their home fans, thus bringing the series to 1-2. Karol Butryn was the top scorer of the match with 27 points, while Moritz Karlitzek contributed 24 points. Uroš Kovacevic scored 24 points for the losing team.
In the second match, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle defeated Projekt Warszawa in Game 4 with a score of 3-1, closing the series 3-1 and advancing to the semifinals where they will face Asseco Resovia. Bartosz Bednorz was the top scorer with 22 points, while Kevin Tillie was the most efficient player for Projekt Warszawa with 15 points.
